hi everyone! i know i’m not supposed to post anything until next year, but surprise ! ~2 years ago i wrote this essay on mitski’s first album (with the intent to film it and release said video on the 10 year anniversary of this album) but never did anything with it. i was going through old shit in my google drive and found this and while i think this is not good AT ALL, it felt silly for me to have something that i put so much effort into, just sitting unread by
